Regression (Prototype)

2018

A young woman goes back to visit her hometown for the first time in five years, a small, Atlantic Canadian town. Her first night back, she has a dream: she dreams of her past life as a witch, where she is cursed by a former lover to be reincarnated into the town over and over again, unless she can successfully create a spell to break the curse.

Did she make this story up, or is it really a repressed spiritual memory? She seeks to create the concoction from her dream and find out more about her past life as the famous witch from her hometown.

This is the prototype of a story based, 2D side scroller created in Unity, done in a storybook, illustrational style. The game does not have any text and instead tells its story completely through images.
